Taxes & Duties

United States Orders

We ship most U.S. orders on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis.

This means all applicable duties, taxes and import charges are paid by Chailata before delivery. In most cases, U.S. customers will not be required to pay any additional fees upon arrival.

International Orders

For destinations outside the United States, customs duties, taxes and import fees are determined by the destination country and may vary.

Any applicable customs charges, import duties or local taxes are the responsibility of the customer and may be collected by the local carrier before delivery.

We are required by customs authorities to declare the value of all shipments. Occasionally, customs inspections may result in delays beyond our control.
